William Grant & Sons seek a Trade Marketing Manager: Norway Domestic & Nordic Travel Retail

William Grant & Sons is an award winning, independent, global premium drinks company. We produce some of the world’s favourite Scotch whisky brands, including Glenfiddich (the world’s Number 1 single malt Scotch), Grant’s (a leading blended Scotch) and The Balvenie (an esoteric single malt). We also have a number of innovative non-scotch brands, including Hendrick’s Gin, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and Tullamore Dew, our new Irish whiskey.

William Grant & Sons have recently opened a new Marketing office for The Nordics based in Stockholm and we are looking for a:

Trade Marketing Manager responsible for both the Norwegian domestic market and Nordic travel retail channels, based out of Stockholm.

Our Trade Marketing Managers have 2 key functions:

(1) brand marketing – translating global brand strategies into channel brand plans, and

(2) trade marketing – turning brand plans into reality by implementing and executing activities. You will provide the tools, promotions, product education and PR to encourage consumer advocacy, maximise brand awareness and deliver growth of our portfolio.

At the same time you will maximise the efficiency of A&P investment, build insight of regional market trends and evaluate competitor activity.

William Grant & Sons are looking for proven experience of activating international premium brands in a local market, with a performance driven focus, digital marketing knowledge and the ability to take initiative.

There will be significant travel in this role.
